I am a floral designer based in West Wiltshire and a proud NAFAS* National Demonstrator as well as the founder of Flowers from The Pod.
My craft takes me nationwide, where I create bold, large-scale floral designs that engage and entertain live audiences, primarily for NAFAS clubs. I am honoured to have received multiple awards for my work, including several prestigious RHS Gold Medals.

Having benefited from the knowledge shared with me, I believe it is essential to pass on our skills to others. I especially enjoy teaching those who have never arranged before; their joy in achieving success is a source of happiness for me.
I offer classes ranging from six to groups of up to 30 people. My Christmas workshops are particularly popular, so be sure to book early to avoid any disappointment!

my background
My creativity is influenced by my dyslexia and a lifelong passion for flowers. Floral art is my chosen medium for expressing ideas, emotions and joy and I deeply value the connections my work fosters with others.
My professional journey began in 2005 at Lackham College and I now have over 20 years of experience in floral artistry. I discovered my love for competition early on by winning the South West Area of the UK Skills Challenge in 2006. Since then, I have participated in numerous RHS shows, including Malvern and Chelsea.
My affection for flowers took root in childhood, inspired and taught by my grandfather, who was the head gardener at a country estate in Box. My interest in flower arranging blossomed through Girl Guides and local gardening clubs, eventually leading me to NAFAS Flower clubs, which was a pivotal step in my career.
In 2015, I achieved NAFAS National Demonstrator status and now showcase my skills across the UK for clubs, Area Days, AGMs, and National events. Notable highlights include demonstrating at various NAFAS National Shows and recently at the SAFAS Conference. I offer a variety of regularly updated demonstration titles, along with bespoke demonstrations for special occasions.
Additionally, I serve as a NAFAS Area Judge and am currently expanding my professional scope by training to become a NAFAS Area Speaker.
